The chair sits empty because nobody picked up.

Front Desk plus No-Show Shield: it answers the phone and Instagram, books a real slot from your diary with a deposit, and sends the reminder that makes people actually show up. You stay on the floor cutting.

Bookings take a deposit, remind themselves, and actually show up.

Industry data, not our claims

What an empty chair actually costs.

~£39
the average cost to a UK barbershop or salon of a single no-show
40%
of booking attempts happen outside opening hours
Up to ⅔
the reduction in no-shows when a deposit is taken

Figures are published UK hospitality and hair-and-beauty industry data, rounded and quoted as ranges. They describe the sector, not Algonix results.

What it plugs into

Your diary, your numbers, your tools.

We build around what the shop already runs. Nothing gets migrated, and no client is asked to download anything.

Booksy, Fresha, or the diary you already use

Availability stays per-chair and stays live. Clients keep messaging the number and handles they already have.

Phone, WhatsApp and Instagram

The line and DMs that currently pile up until closing get answered and turned into booked, deposited slots.

Deposits that stick

Card deposits at booking through your own rules for rollover, notice periods, and regulars.

Sunday Books (add-on)

Supplier invoices and card takings captured, coded, and posted to Xero, so the paperwork stops eating your Sunday.

Your team’s way of working

Barbers block out time with a normal WhatsApp message. No new admin interface for anyone to learn.

A human fallback, always

Complaints, refunds, anything sensitive: handed to a person on your team, never guessed at.

The offer

Build free. Run it free for 30 days.

Then £129 per site per month — or we switch it off. No contract.

The case we can prove

We automated our own five-site gym and sauna company in London first.

Five sites, real members, real bookings, real refunds. Before we sold an AI front desk to anyone else, we ran one on our own business — and we still do. These are our numbers, not a client’s.

~76%
of member conversations now involve AI
94.7%
customer experience score
Five
London sites, live deposits and WhatsApp flows

Members message the way they already do; the AI handles enquiry, booking and rescheduling.

Deposits are taken at booking, with the refund and rollover rules that stop disputes.

Anything sensitive — complaints, refunds, edge cases — goes to a human, by design.

Same team, same playbook, same code. If it is not good enough for our own sites, we do not install it for you.

Build slots

We run 5–10 builds at a time so every install gets the founders' attention.

5 of 5 open now. Next start 18 August 2026. Join the waitlist and we research your shop.

Fair questions

What barbershop owners ask first.

Will clients know they’re talking to AI?

Yes. The assistant says it’s an AI front desk when it picks up or replies, and never pretends to be one of your barbers. Anything sensitive — a complaint, a refund, a skin or patch-test question — is handed straight to a human on your team.

Does it work with the diary I already use?

Yes. Algonix wires into the diary you already run, whether that’s Booksy, Fresha, Square, Google Calendar, or a shared calendar on the team’s phones. Clients keep messaging your existing WhatsApp or Instagram; nobody downloads an app.

How do deposits work if someone reschedules?

Deposits are taken at booking and roll over automatically when a client reschedules inside your notice window. They’re only kept on a genuine no-show, and your rules — notice period, amount, exemptions for regulars — are yours to set.

What happens to enquiries that come in overnight?

They get answered. About 40% of booking attempts arrive outside opening hours, and the front desk books them into real availability at 11pm the same way it does at 11am, so the chair is filled before a client tries the shop down the road.

What does it cost to try?

Nothing for the build, and nothing for the first 30 days. After that it is £129 per site per month, or we switch it off. Sunday Books is £99 extra if you want the invoices handled too.
